In response to the growing global demand for diverse digital printing and fast delivery for small batches, Epson has announced the official launch of the PrecisionCore T3200-U3-2 printhead in early April 2026. This new model is designed to meet industry needs for high efficiency and stability through technical upgrades. Built on Epson's proprietary PrecisionCore technology, which combines MEMS manufacturing with Thin Film Piezo (TFP) technology, the printhead improves speed and image quality while expanding compatibility with various inks and materials. The most significant breakthrough compared to its predecessor is a new structural design that increases the ink heating temperature to 50°C. This ensures stable jetting, prevents errors caused by viscosity changes, and greatly enhances compatibility with a wider range of UV inks, allowing it to be used in diverse industrial fields such as signage, advertising, and packaging labels. Additionally, the T3200-U3-2 offers improved reliability and durability for high-intensity continuous operations, reducing maintenance costs. Because its external dimensions, electronic interfaces, and performance specifications are identical to the previous T3200-U3, existing equipment can be upgraded seamlessly without major modifications. Positioning itself as a mature commercial and industrial-grade solution, the T3200-U3-2 features a compact design with 3200 nozzles, supports resolutions of 300dpi/4-color or 600dpi/2-color, and offers an effective printing width of 67.2 mm. By integrating precise 50°C heating, it perfectly balances production efficiency and printing accuracy while expanding the boundaries of digital printing applications.
